Pirates, Vikings & Knights II Mod Update

The Pirates, Vikings & Knights II team has recently introduced a new character to their mod named the Gestir. Take a look:

The next character in the ongoing Pirates, Vikings, and Knights saga shall be known as the Gestir. Translated as badass from Old Norse, the Gestir carries with him a long spear, useful for making human shish kabobs and stopping cavalry charges. But, since there is no cavalry in PVK(yet), we made it equally useful for poking people to death. Currently implemented is an optional defensive mode, where your readied spear will be much more effective, but your lack of maneuverability will make you a sitting duck for ranged attacks.

The Gestir is also an olympic javelin thrower, so he's sure to have a few of those around. like any proper viking, he'll also have a trusty sword and shield with him.
