Battlefield 1943 Reaches Alpha

Gustav Halling, a developer over at DICE, has updated his website today with news that Battlefield 1943 has reached the alpha stage. Here's what he had to say:

Today we can proudly say that we have hit alpha, that means we have the rest of the time left polishing and fixing bugs in the game thx to good planning and nice efforts!

enyone knows what the price may be and if you can buy it in a store or is it oing to be a download ??

The game is going to be cheap, I can't remember how much it will cost, and you can't buy it in the store, so you have to download it from ea store

Didn't they already have a playable version of the game? I think it's way beyond the alpha stage to be honest.
