    Team Fortress 2 Update Released

This update seems to be a primer for the larger update to come. Here is the changelog:
    Game Changes

-Reworked the character loadout screens to support future features

-Added the ability for players to permanently delete items from their inventory using the new Backpack menu. This does not reset achievements. Once an item has been deleted it can never be re-earned

-Added the ability for players to reset their player stats using the Reset Stats button on the Stats menu. This does not reset achievements

-Added a "player_teleported" game event that is sent when a player is teleported

-Updated cp_junction_final to score per-capture instead of per-round. This fixes the map not working correctly with Tournament mode and the stopwatch

-Scouts now drop the flag if they're carrying it when they start phasing

    Fixes

-Fixed instances where Steam connection problems would cause some unlocked items to be unusable

-Fixed the custom crosshair menu not clearing itself when "None" is selected for non-English clients

-Fixed warning about not being able to execute skill1.cfg when starting the dedicated server
Start up Steam to get started downloading this update.

If the intel was below you and you drank bonk, you would be invincible with intel.

I don't know, it sounds quite pointless to me. What if I were to "accidentally" delete one of my items?

On another note, has anyone else noticed that there's now a "Head" slot for classes now?

I wouldn't mind giving the Heavy a full head of hair. Infact, I'd love to.

Whats the logic of removing items? I would never even consider doing that...

If you take a closer look, you'll notice that the backpack can only hold a limited amount of items. So I guess you'll have to remove some to make space for other unlocks.

Even so, that still sounds really harsh, especially since removing items is permanent. What if I get second thoughts? What if I removed one by mistake?! What if I get hacked and some mingebag went and removed all my items?!!

                *faints in exhaustion* :dead:

And no, I'm not that worried about getting hacked. :p

Maybe you'll need to sacrifce some in order to take advantage of new unlocks/accessories being released? I don't know.

What I do know is the demoman's getting a 'fro. :awes2

What if you sacrifice an item for another, and that other item turns out to suck?
                      This sucks.

If that's the case then they should at least let us re-unlock the older weapons some how

They probably have the option to remove weapons because you have "backpack" and your pack can only carry a certain amount of weapons. So, the new headgears that will be released are probably going to be involved in the pack. It's a little harsh that when you delete a weapon it is gone permanently.

The whole "Never be re-earned thing is Bs imo.

Why would they do that lol?

"Never" does seem a bit strange. Maybe it's a "fix" to prevent some sort of exploit that they discovered in testing?
