Highway Tampa. It was optional for 1.41, but now they're including it in 1.50.

It's hard to take companies seriously when they use sites like Facebook and Twitter to relay information to their customers, especially for something technical like a beta patch - even if only for a game.

Sites/apps like FB and Twitter are viral...info gets out quickly, and spreads quickly. You'd be surprised at just how much news gets around that way now, or at least the links to point people to websites get passed around that way.

Times are changing, and smart game companies are going with what works. Other games are having success with this too.

There will be "official updates" also, in the meantime infos are spreaded through twitter. do you think the patch size or the shout "news tomorrow!" would have been worth an official update?
i think ppl would have complained about another news with blahblahblah in it.

i would say that you better get a quick answer to a quick question and everybody can also read it, instead of searching through eauk forums all day long - i like the way twitter works.

Yay i have come back to totalbf2! I have been waiting on this patch a very long time BF2 is still a legend of a game! Bring on 1.5 i do hope they have improved hit reg lots so i can do some more infantry ownage :P

I dont play bf2 like I used to cause I dont have the time, but when I have the chance the reg pisses me off so bad. I used to play competitively and kill 3-4 ppl with one magazine and now it takes a a whole magazine to kill 1 guy. I hope they do really fix the reg.

I do agree the reg is bad but i have got use to it so its going to be interesting to see what changes i see and hopefully the 1.5 patch will wake up the game and bring some teams back to the game and a tournament at the next LAN @ i37

You guys complain that they don't give us enough info about the patch. Now they've found a great channel that allows them to give us tidbits of info every day. And you still complain. Sigh.

Lots of game companies are now using Twitter. It's not just attention whores microblogging about their pet peeves anymore. Twitter is now very useful actually, I really suggest you guys check it out.
