If you read any of the earlier interviews, you'd have read that the fog is there so that it will perform better on slower machines. The icon in the "mini-map" is probably just a PhotoShop. There are no other HUD items displaying, so the screenshots were taken with "renderer.drawhud 0", then the mini-map was put in. I do it when taking screenshots for Desert Conflict.

It looks like there's so much fog that snipers are going to be useless.

I'll be stunned if they actually fix that sandbag "gold brick" glitch, haven't they always blamed it on Nvidia?

Looks kinda boring, no colours, no new statics, nothing that really jumps out. You can't tell me a bunch of professional devs can't turn out anything more inspirational.

You guys have to remember that we are lucky to even get any new content or a patch based on how old the game is now. I think I saw mentioned in an earlier interview that they are only dedicating so much time and effort to this. It's not top priority.

But yeah, it doesn't look bad. I miss playing Stalemate. :)

very disapointing...a smart move would have been to go out with a bang,something where every kinda player could have had some fun,sniper or plane whore...something like good old el al,gazala or desert shield.

Dice should have asked advanced bf2 modders to finish off bf2 with lots of extra goodies.

This map looks more like a zombie map just look at it . Mayby we are getting some kind of a zombie mod xD
