Actually a lot of ppl still play the demo, but its a little laggy..especially the tv missle.

If it was, then I assume they got a lot of extra bandwidth then they normally would have done, but they are shooting themselves in the foot in the long run. Seems people on their forums dont even know.

Who know? If it was a joke.. Then the joke is really on them. I've been around the mod community now a long time.. (I am aka (EoDDev)Trahn Lee as well as, Gunnie)

All I can say is that they had alot of the community they had relocate to other forums. They got alot of people to move files, move forums and entire communities to other sites. All because they said they were shutting down the site.

As a member of the FH2 Mod Team (Gunnie). The FH2 Mod Team relocated all of our forums, files and data base off their website. Keep in mind that they had hosted the FH Mod forums for several years. The Team was shocked that this was happening and we were only going to have a few days to move it all. We got it all moved and we have a new home. We WON'T be going back.

Anyway, if they did it as a joke. Then I really pity them. It was a cruel, sick joke and a bad one at that. They cost alot of people alot of undue stress, broke communities and in reality, played a joke that was in very poor taste.

As a creator of my own mod .. (Eve of Destruction) I won't be putting up any files on their site in the future.

OMG BF2!

BF1942/DC is awesome so this must be also awesome, especially since the Desert Combat developers were involved!

Can't wait for the fastropes, laser targeting and 128 players.

Man, I just hope the game doesn't turn into a lot of dolphin-diving, prone-spamming, and kangaroo-jumping. That would really suck. :|:
