Along with all the new previews being posted for Battlefield 1943, EA has also published three new screenshots from the Iwo Jima level of the game. Check them out below:

Looks nice, although a little coffee filter brownish. I think it will be able to hold me over till Bc2 or BF3.

Looks great, BUT:

When you stuff those stupid HUD's, nametags covering half the screen, 6v6 multiplayer, unlimited ammo and retarded classes, it's not so great.

where did you get 6 vs 6, its 12 v 12 on consoles, pc wont have a set limit of 12 v 12, the maps are built for 24 players but theres no hard coded limit.

aaahh, the glorious olden days.

How will the damage model be with the ships ? Can enemy blow up parts of it first, before it cracks in two and sinks ? That'll be worth my buck for sure

If half of the team will be camping for planes at main base/flying/wh0ring them, that makes it about 6v6.

PC will have the 24 limit too because they have made the game with consoles in mind while PC version is just a beta test for the new engine, and it's just a game that will be forgotten after BC2 so they can't be arsed to put any effort for the PC version.

They have all ready said that pc wont have the limit.

"We have designed the levels now with 24 in mind, but that's not hard-coded. You can always squeeze in more players," Liu says when we ask about the PC version."

I have been soooooooo anti 1943 snice the first day we all heard about it, but i have to say, that video looks pretty damn good.

I think when you stop thinking about it as a real installment to 1942 and start thinking that its a download only type of a game then its not half bad, althou the download part of it is putting me off as i just like my games to be on DVD, call me old skool if you like.

I don't think its ever going to live up to the EPIC-NESS of BF2, but then its not meant to, its a completly different style of game, also am liking the trenches, if only wake 2007 had trenches it would have saved my '' butt '' lots of times.

Quit complaining, it's a cheap download-only game for a reason. It's dumbed down to introduce people to the franchise.

I take "old school" to be anything that came on a 5 and 1/4 floppy.

You quit whining there, demos are free and better way to introduce people to the franchise.

1943 is a fail that should have never been developed. Now there is no hope for a real WW2 battlefield like 1942 anymore.
