CoD:MW2 Announcement Soon?

This may be speculation, however thanks to Kyle of our forums, it has been brought to everyone's attention that Infinity Ward has something up there sleeves for CoD: Modern Warfare 2. A site is now active, however, there is not much to see.

On Robert Bowling's (fourzerotwo, Infinity Ward's Community Manager) Twitter, he announced earlier that,

We've finally secured www.modernwarfare2.com

The green IW logo to the left on his Twitter page is also what matches the green line going across their newly secured, and live, url for Modern Warfare 2.

Well Modern Warfare fans, what do you think? How long until we hear something?

They'll have to start making announcements/ads soon. If it releases at the beginning of November, which is when the previous two COD's have come out, that's only about 7 months away.

If you click the analyze button it allows you to disect the video frame for frame, you can also zoom in. You'll find some quite interesting stuff if you do.

aye, in my opinion, the perks will not really be much different as it's going to be in a similar time, and i'm guessing, will probably have similar circumstances.

i took a gander at the link u posted eagle, and they asked what the teddy bear was about. my 1st thought was the teddy bear that appears in the random box in zombie mode in the new DLC. for those that haven't seen a video/play on a console with a DLC, when u get a teddy bear in the random box, the random box lifts up in the air and disappears. what happens next is that the box goes to somewhere else in the map and u have to find it. that teddy bear in the video and the one in the DLC look very similar so maybe its an allusion to a zombie-type mode in MW2. i am prolly wrong but it cant hurt to think about it :P

^ Could be, but don't forget that those Teddy Bears were all over the place in COD4, so it might just be IW's little in-joke for MW2. That being said, Modern Zombies in the new game would rock...especially in a huge shopping-mall level. :)

the funny thing is whiskey there is a guy over at CustomCod who is making a modern mall nazi zombie map.....he is debating over WWII weapons or modern weapons....so u may get yur wish sooner then u think

Definitely some of the stuff we posted on here and a tad more.

I think the teddy bears are kind of like they're little 'signature' thrown in, but if they have eyes, they have seen the huge success of the zombie mode. Fourzerotwo, even though he ranted on Treyarch, loves and praises the zombie mode also. In other words, put it in!

i jsut thought about this......they cant do zombie terrorists/muslims/russians because it would def be offensive to some1.....i think that they are gonna have a zombie teddy mode......"In a world torn by war, one group of vigilantes are faced with a dire quest: Kill.
