Wheelman Has Gone Gold - New Screenshots Released

Midway and Ubisoft today have announced that Wheelman has gone gold as well as releasing several new screenshots of the game. Take a look:

Combining spectacular Hollywood-style stunts with a gripping storyline, Wheelman provides an adrenaline-fueled, cinematic thrill ride. Vin Diesel stars as an undercover agent and highly skilled driver who must infiltrate the Barcelona underworld to gather intelligence surrounding a covert heist. Posing as a driver-for-hire, he ends up caught in a crossfire of corruption and chaos while trying to stay one step ahead of local law enforcement and rival gangs.

Be sure to checkout Wheelman for the PC, PS3, and 360 on March 24th for North America and March 27th for Europe.

This should be a great game, also nice to see some European locations and cars (looks at the Vauxhall/Opel Astra :))

I read a small preview from a gaming site that said it was very good and hard to put down!

Looks good, sounds good, but seeing Ubisoft puts me off. They make good games, that look good and are ok to play, but these days so many games are being put on the market with a lot more to often, Ubisoft usually offer a linear style of game, soemthing im not really a fan of these days.

Although one of my favourite game, 'Assassins Creed' has the Ubisoft tag on, one they can be proud of :).

The game is not at all a Ubisoft game this is a Midway developed game and is only being published and marketed by Ubisoft because Midway cannot afford it.

I have actually heard some bad things about the demo that was put out on the 360, I heard the textures and models are not as good as they could be and it really takes away from the game, but I will still give the demo a try on the PS3 when it is released.

The models look pretty neat, but I see where Manzi could be coming from with what he said about the textures, take a look at the top left of this image, its something I would really expect to see in older titles such as 'The Getaway'.

but the game does look kinda fun :-P.

Well the demo was released today for the PS3 so I'm going to give it a try after I try the Riddick demo.
