New Verrückt Trailer

Along with the new mini-site we posted about earlier today regarding the first World at War map pack, the Call of Duty Hub has been updated with a new trailer showing off the zombie map Verrückt. Take a look:

Notice how they're fully promoting Verrukt b/c they know the zombie mode is where a lot of people are playing. Over at customcod, you have about 12 custom maps and 69 custom zombie maps.

I'm really hoping IW is taking notice of the popularity of zombie mode, and will implement something similar in COD:MW2 as well. Along with other things (co-op, some vehicles, more flexible server settings, etc).

It's too early to say that Treyarch is living up to what they said about supporting COD:WW with a significant amount of DLC going forward, but I'm encouraged by what we've seen so far, even if it is happening a bit slower than we'd like. If they continue, they'll be setting a good example for IW to live up to, and hopefully help bolster Treyarch's reputation if/when they ever make a COD:WW 2

Exactly! If both companies build off each other positively, CoD could keep getting better every time! Hopefully IW does have the zombies (which FourZeroTwo loves them, don't know what pull he has there) and also the other features. If they somewhat 'work together' even though they're not in each others studios or passing code back and forth, they could keep building off of each other's CoD game. Aka, we would win as CoD players. :thumbsup:
