CoD:WW Map Pack 1 - Coming Soon!

Over at the CoD:Hub, the section for CoD:WW has been updated with a graphic that reads: "Map Pack 1 Coming Soon" smack dab in the middle of the page. Click here to see the graphic. In other words, they purely like to taunt their fans or more likely it is VERY close, hence the reason the graphic is on there. We are in March, and that is when the DLC was said to come out.

Also, not to put any pressure on Treyarch, but I find it interesting that it says "Map Pack 1." Are there more future map packs already planned, or is this merely a technical issue of putting a "1" in case they released any more?

Your thoughts fans?

Yeah, that "soon" is now just a running gag for everyone.

As for multiple map packs, it could be. I remember there was this big CoD4 deal where people submitted maps that MAY have been for public release. That fizzled out though.

My rule is to take patches and new content one day at a time. When its released I am thankful and until then happy with what I have.

as for the '1' aspect, i hope they do bring out even more than just one Map Pack :)

didn't the Map Pack come out for PS3 and X360 players today?

It appears the reason they released less than perfect mod tools was so that they can release maps that appear a higher quality with everything working unlike many of the custom maps which are all great efforts but real struggle for the mappers to get half the effects to work. Maybe I am being too cynical but I doubt it.

It is their baby, so maybe they deserve the right to have the best toys ?

maybe they said Map Pack '1' because it's so soon they have brought it out..
as i'm sure it was longer than this between the game release and the new maps release in CoD4.. :/

im still waiting for the "(insert big name PC company) has decided to pick up the tab for PC fans"......idk if i'll buy it tbh if it wasnt free.......as for more map pack i'd love to see more but not if they aren't free......JC likes free....free things are good
