Valve has also announced a new Critic’s Choice Edition of Left 4 Dead, which will ship on April 21 and contain the full game and DLC on the disc. The downloadable Survival Pack will be released for download at some point before that, adding survival mode and the two new versus campaigns (Death Toll and Dead Air). Survival mode will be playable on 16 maps, 15 of which are culled from the existing campaigns’ crescendo moments and finales. The final survival map is the new original creation, “Lighthouse,” depicted in the videos above.

Terrible gameplay footage, looks like the zombies were rolling them on easy... I think this will be free, the game felt like it was missing 80% of its content anyway.

Terrible gameplay footage, looks like the zombies were rolling them on easy... I think this will be free, the game felt like it was missing 80% of its content anyway.

That's because they weren't really trying to stay alive, but to show you how extreme Survival mode is gonna be.
And even if youre the best player in L4D you will still eventually get murdered by Tank + Hunters + Smokers + Horde all at once.

I love how he says this is probably the worst spot to be because you can get dragged down by the water by smokers real easy... and he stays there , then what happens next? :laugh:
