Nice to read about the /record finally being made a priority. Even if this game isn't as popular for competition as COD4, that will at least help things along. As well as letting people finally make some cool movies and vids of the game to show. :)
    Congrats on your 4000 post

I suppose, as an on-the-record 'Naysayer', I suspect a better look at what their "fix" is for the sound problem will be much more indicative of their 'dedication' to the PC market than their admission of inability to deliver the PC patch on time is.
actually, the fact that they are keeping us informed is a pretty good admission of their dedication to the pc market IMO.

It's windows - issues pop up. As they say - if there are no bugs then there aren't enough features.

Here is hoping you may be right. Personally, if the fix is to simply auto roll all advanced sound settings back to 16 bit with a subroutine, or script a substitute 16 bit drivers for 32 bit driver settings, this is dedication I could do without. I will change my sig if they actually make 32 bit drivers and advanced settings work.

        Heh,
If you already had your sound settings on 16 bit when 1.2 came out, well, hearing isn't very believing for you anyway. Rock on. I hate this setting for all other applications, so its all academic for me at this point. I have to keep tabs on it because of the fix-it library for the rest of the clan, but I don't play it anymore. I much prefer 4 which is busier on our sites anyway. I will wait for MW2.

Hopefully the patch fixes it as they say for those having the problem. I never had a problem with the sound before or after the patch and I have Vista64 and a nice sound setup. Obviously, I've heard (no pun intended) of a lot of people who do have the prob though.
Yea i got that problem, do you have on board or x-fi sound card?

Why isn't there any mention of fixing the spawns in MP? If anything bothers me the most it is spawning next to an enemy or just in front of one. I could care less about the ability to make videos of my gameplay. What's more, how come there hasn't been any fix to allow for altering the tanks' health?
