Many CoD:WW fans have been grumbling and wondering what exactly was changed with the bolt action rifles in the 1.2 patch. Well, we finally have an answer straight from JD_2020 himself.
I am glad this has finally been cleared up. I myself use bolt action rifles most of the time in every fps I play, including CoD:WW, and I didn't notice a whole lot of a difference after the patch. Other people were killing me a tad easier than usual with bolt action rifles, but I also had not played for a while, so I attributed it to rust. We're not sure exactly how much strength was added, but maybe some modders out there can figure it out for us.
Thanks to JerseyBricklayer of our forums for the news!

What many of you seem to be doing is looking for a controversy where there is none. That needs to stop, because it's just silly.
Straight from the team: the damage multipliers for upper-body shots were increased.
Details beyond that are not going to be posted, because they are not necessary. At the end of the day, if they still don't feel right, report your feedback as always. If they feel fine, then be happy.
I am considering this topic closed.
