    New Downloadable Content Announced

A new update has been made today over on the Call of Duty Hub officially announcing new downloadable content for World at War. Here's what they had to say:
New conflicts are on the horizon for Call of Duty: World at War! We're pleased to introduce the contents of our first Downloadable Content (DLC) Map Pack for World at War, which includes three new Multiplayer levels, as well as an additional level for the ever-popular bonus Co-Op mode, Nazi Zombies!

    <a href="http://images.totalgamingnetwork.com/images/map_pack_banner.jpg"><img src="http://images.totalgamingnetwork.com/images/thumb_map_pack_banner.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>

    Nightfire
In "Nightfire," players take to the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin with only the flames of the burning city to expose the enemy.

    Station
"Station" offers a bombed out underground train station littered with hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars.

    Knee Deep
"Knee Deep" takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center.

    Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)
The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with "Verrückt," a terrifying Zombie asylum featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless zombie horde.

The team has been very quiet regarding details of our DLC until now, and we're so excited to let this content loose. DLC Map Pack #1 is due out in March of '09 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC platforms. More details are soon to come, so be sure to check out CallOfDuty.com for all the latest news and updates regarding CoD:WaW!

Be sure to stay tuned for more info on the DLC in the future as well as its release in March!

2 - 6.5 weeks. Depends on WHEN it's released in March. Not trying to be Debbie Downer, just Realistic Roger. :)

Is this gonna cost the PC users Green Bags?

Yes. PC users will be forced to fork over lawn and leaf bags for their DLC.

I'll wait for the price to decide, but with http fixed I'm doing just fine atm.

Of course we have to pay, if anything they owe use big time. Not paying if it's over $2.00!

WHAT? You're straight up trippin, Junky Jo!

Sure, it can be 6 weeks. The important thing is that its not three months away.

When did IW release the DLC for CoD4? Anyone know?

IW released DLC for CoD4 before PC 1.4 patch (I think?) but it took at least 3-4 months before it was out for PC, although that was partly due to the fact that nVidia wanted custom maps built for the pack instead of the DLC ones - rumor though...

I doubt they'd make you charge for DLC on PC, unless they add DRM into the DLC which seems pointless as it's only 4 maps... :S and I don't think DRM inside a map would work? lol...
