BF2 Assault Mod v7.5 Released

Our community member spartan117gw has informed us that the newest release for his BF2 Assault Mod is now available to the public. Check it out:

It's taken four years to get to this point. Hours and days spent. Many sleepless nights. Its done. From version 7.117-7.5 there are many changes. It looks like a different mod. Well here it goes.

Too bad the mod doesn't work right. Server install is borked and won't run..

Oh well, glad I wasted 2 hours downloading it not to be able to run it.

Anyone get a server for this mod to work? I see 0 servers online.

My server will start and then crash 2 seconds later, every time. Something is not right with the server files.

Not interested in single player since we have a clan of 25 people who play TOGETHER.

Too bad, I tried about everything I could think of to get this mod running on our box. No luck. Hopefully they will come out with a working server version.

If you are the one to fix the server files. Just Zip the files, no need for an installer. I, like most server owners, have more problems with installers then anything. They just never put the mod where it is supposed to go. They are tricky at best.

I normally have to have the installer, install to a blank folder then I copy the mod to the correct server location. Save us all a step.

no install files. got it. just zip folder with the file directory. ok.

I played a little on single player. Helis are harder(for me) to fly, but mod is pretty darn fun fun in singleplayer mode.:thumbsup:

hey whatsup. report any bugs or crashes to the moddb site. hope u guys are hving fun. coop tends tomake the xperience the best. mix of humans and bot space fillers. coordinating fire etc. hope u have fun.

hey how u doing. u can still play the mod with the client. the new server file wich is just filez zipped up is uploaded and being processed at moddb. if itdoesnt finish processing befor your game iappologize =( but can always play coop or try a multiplayer game without a dedicated server. i hope u guys have fun! il report back when the link is up
