Battlefield Heroes Release Date News - 'Soon'

The guys over at VideoGaming24/7 have posted some news recently giving us a little info on the release date for Battlefield Heroes. Take a look:

Electronic Arts has told videogaming247 that news regarding a release date for its free-to-play multiplayer shooter, Battlefield Heroes, will be announced “soon.”

“No release date confirmed as yet for Heroes,” said the company. “Should be more news on this soon.”

EA re-opened the Battlefield Heroes beta servers a couple of days ago as sign-ups for yet another closed beta were unveiled. This lead to suspicions the full release was imminent.

Stay tuned for more including the actual release date for BFH. In the meantime, here's a video from April 2008 showcasing what you'll be able to experience "soon."

Back in the summer of 2008 they announced the 1.5 patch for BF2 and said that there would be more information coming soon. Finally, in December, more information came.

This announcement means nothing, really, since "soon" just means "sometime within the next 12 months", which we already know.

Its like JD_2020 who said the CoD:WaW beta would be out "Soon" and it came out two weeks later.

Its not good considering the game came out a week after it was released. Therefore the beta was completley pointless.

It's still 1 week. For a demo that would have been useful but sucks for beta.
