One thing I would love to see is that when you see your friends on line, you should be able to join them on line, with out asking them what server they are on. And Co-op issue.

It's not his fault, there's probably 2 people working on the PC patch.

Thank you sir! The reason I have never experienced these problems is due to the fact that the times I've played Co-op and Zombies, I have always played with people I know and we invite each other to the games. So for the hours I have played those two modes, I've never had a problem.

Yeah, the PC should be easier in some regards to patch, I agree. I believe he is a PR guy trying to simma down the fire that is the community.

I hate to say it, but the line above is inaccurate at best, and plain spin-doctoring at worst.

Unless Treyarch/Activision has some special reason why PC patches take longer, in general, PC can receive updates far more frequently than the Console world, due to the different/easier certification and approval process. We saw this in COD4 with their smaller, more frequent patches.

Maybe Activision has changed the philosophy used in COD4. It does cost money to make, test, and distribute patches, so perhaps they went with a different mindset for CODWW - ie. fewer, bigger patches.

But to make a blanket statement that PC cannot receive updates as frequently as Console just isn't correct. Statements like this just continue to add to the credibility problems they're having.

Maybe inform the guy instead of your normal negative comments.

In Co-Op mode the problem of not seeing Co-Op games as well as not being able to connect to them when you do find one.

Someone posted that if you do not patch to 1.1, Co-Op had a large numger of servers and you could easily connect to them. After the 1.1 patch, the number greatly reduced and connection was futile.

If you use friend invites, like many people tend to do, you can connect. If youre wanting to just find a game and hop on, good luck.

I have not really had any issues with the problems covered in this patch, apart from the server authentication. I'm waiting for the new maps.

I'm still absolutely in love with this game. I have played about 10x more of this than CoD4.

It sucks they don't have /record for the competitive gamers, I agree, it may somewhat put the final bullet in the competitive community for this game if it wasn't already done, but for the pub players, it fixes all of the problems I have. The fov, the cg_fps, the server authentication error, the http redirect, no more power level servers, all of it! The game will be much more enjoyable after this patch. This game will be perfect for me and last a long time after they fix these things. I haven't been playing as much lately b/c one, I'm busy, but also b/c all of those other things get annoying when I just want to have some fun with friends playing gameage.

    And great news! ^_^
