    DICE Community News - January 12

    The good folks at DICE have sent along another community news update, with various news tidbits and a shining endorsement of the brand new Battlefield Pirates 2.1 release. No, I'm not joking.
    PIRATES 2 YARR 2.1
    Battlefield Pirates 2 is a full conversion mod for Battlefield 2. The game pits 2 two rivaling crews, the Undead and the Peglegs, in a vicious battle for control of the Caribbean and all its booty.

    A new version of the Pirates mod for Battlefield 2 was released today! Release 2 brings many new maps, larger sea vessels, aircraft, new kits and pickups and several new game modes, including Capture the Flag and Zombie modes.

          Ahoy - shiny indeed! Very nice. Did want to mention that these DICE guys have been very accessible and highly supportive in our closing hours getting this release ready - which I think is a great turn of events for those of us who do this for y'all.

              No doubt this is very cool and mad props to the BF:P team. You guys have created something fun and unique in the BF universe and that is awesome.
