CoD:WW Takes #1 Spot on Xbox LIVE!

Congratulations, and thank you to all the CoD fans for knocking off the lame Halo game from its spot. Thank you.

Here is the official word from Call of Duty: Headquarters:

Thanks to everyone who participated in some holiday fragging, Call of Duty: World at War moved into the top-spot on the Xbox LIVE Activity charts for the week of December 22nd, and held onto the top-spot through the end of the year with this past week as well!

According to Major Nelson (Xbox LIVE Community Manager), Call of Duty: World at War still holds the #1 slot for Unique Users.

Now that 2009 is under way, let's keep that momentum up – tell your friends, we’re playing Call of Duty: World at War tonight!

Quite a feat, hopefully it can maintain its spot, and that will be easier to do if the patch comes out soon as Xboxers also need the patch for their system. Of course, the people on the PC are desperately waiting.
