Call of Duty: World of Love

Over at Call of Duty: Headquarters, they have a new post up that lists many of the awards and recognitions that CoD:WaW has received, along a video also of those "critical acclaims."
Call of Duty: World at War has been receiving many positive reviews and we've listed some of our favorites below. We've even put together a "Critical Acclaim" trailer – check it out!

    -Official Xbox 360 Magazine UK

That is quite an impressive list. Yes, there are some problems with this game i.e. server authentification failure and powerlevel servers, but the game is a blast to play. Hopefully, those small issues get fixed so people can start enjoying this game to its fullest!

Ya ratings dont mean much anymore, they throw around perfect or near perfect scores for so many average games. I have been burned quite a few times in recent years by buying a game based on such amazing reviews and scores.

I've learned to treat gaming press the same as I treat movie/music press: bought and paid for. I can't trust that I'll get an honest review from someone with ads for the product being reviewed all over the site or magazine. That's like asking a Chevy dealer if the Malibu is a good car.
