Call of Duty: World at War: Balancing Historic Realism With Fun

Kotaku has a podcast up that is with some of the Treyarch members. The main topic of the podcast deals with balancing historic realism and fun. They are playing the game while the podcast is going on, somewhat of a different way to do a podcast. Check it out below:

Better to have a visual to watch like this while listening, in my opinion, compared to just an audio podcast.

These are also the folks responsible for the sound effects (guns) and guess what, a new COD (Modern Warfare 2) has already been announced, not by them.

        Balancing realism with fun?

I thought their approach was just to eschew all realism for the sake of maintaining the same cookie cutter gameplay from the previous titles.

        German's with Thompson's ftw.
