They probably didn't like each other that much to begin with and had been fighting sometime. The controller didn't actually provoke them to fight, it just gave them a "good" reason. :p

Two brothers, both in their 30's, were arrested the other day after they first choked and then stabbed one another. The dispute was over who should be using the controller for a PlayStation 2 game they were playing.
