    James on Planning Heroes

A new developer diary was recently posted on the Battlefield Heroes website about the planning of the game. Take a look:
James Salt here again, Senior Producer on Heroes. This time I’m going to talk a bit about what we’ve been looking at on the forums, as well as give you a small insight into how we plan a complex project like Heroes.

Last time we were just about to make the Forums live. Since then there’s been around 16,000 posts! You are a very talkative bunch. We like that.

Remember these forums are temporary, like the rest of this site. The real Battlefield Heroes site will have proper forums, including a search function!

On the forums you are creating a lot of fun threads. Personally I’m really liking the Heroes inspired artwork, as well as looking through the suggestion threads. Quite a lot of the suggested emotes and clothing items have already been made, we just haven’t shown them yet.

    Re: James on Planning Heroes

The main good thing to come of this project is that for Battlefield 3 DICE will finally be able to take over the task of managing the back end server support on their own.

I find the gameplay of Heroes just too casual for my personal taste.
