I did a cod5 promod match today, both sides agree'd the mod was so bad we quit after 1 map. This looks more promising. Still prefer cod4 though.

Hi guys. I am not a regular here by anymeans.
However I belong to a highly active competitive ladder in Toronto canada.
We tried several of these types of mods and found they all suk really.

It is mainly becuase they mod things that don't need to be modded.

Making a oneshot kill weapon out of a Favorite gun is pretty lame actaully.
Limiting someones load out choice.. also lame.

We do many many types of things to play competitivly but mainly the rules played by are way simpler than these mods are.

No rabbiting. Shorter sprint times ( 2 secs I think .. enuff to avoid nades )
and no Marty with reflective FF.

All other perks are allowed and all guns allowed.
And we play ALOT of LAN tournies and these rules are pretty standrd.

claimng these mods to be for pro or competitive players is kinda false.
If anything these mods are Letist mods for some peoples custome servers. But NOT overall competitive settings by any means.
We been playing in LAN tournies since 98. ( yes we are old men lol)

not to mention most of these types of mods work so horribly as to what they are trying to achieve.
sadly this one was even LESS fun to try than others with all the limitations and bugs during a LAN event.
we tested this on one of our practice nights with 3 other clubs in my area. was not popular.

we reverted back to our standrd rules as it is Less complicated to setup a server than using these types of mods. which .. also tend to mess with FPS so.. yeah we no like
