I never have problem with the maps. Once I created the "mods" folder, I always just unpack/extract/unzip the rar or zip file, then I just plop the whole nazi_zombie_mapname folder into my mods folder and it's good to go. I've done that with all of them so far, no probs. I have Vista btw.

Yeah, most of them work that way, thankfully.

The only one I think I've seen that's different, was the nazi_zombie_wh map...the readme (whether it's correct or not) instructs to put different files in different places.

No, you can't go outside. However, in the next release - frumansion extreme - you will.
