BattleForge Community Update - 12/12/08 Presswatch & ESL EU Updates
EA Phenomic has sent us another community update today this time we hear some impressions from around the internet about the beta and some cool news about some upcoming leagues for BattleForge. Check it out:

The Open Beta has been underway for over a month now, and we have some new media coverage for you.
MMOSITE.com, for example, has posted an article on BattleForge, including an in-game review and an interview with our Producer, Sebastian Nell.

In eSports news, the ESL has announced that BattleForge is now available in the European Section, so that non-German players can now participate in tournaments too. The ESL kicks off this extension with a new 1on1 Cup where you can win BattleForge t-shirts. The tournament is a Single Elimination event played as Best of Three (meaning the first player to win two matches wins the round). In the ESL's announcement you can also find links to various polls, where you can vote for your favorite mode (2on2 or 1on1).
