Although the New Xbox Experience has had a very smooth roll out, it is causing HDMI sound to completely glitch out. Microsoft is aware of the issue and the internet has found a temporary fix. Here are the steps:

1. Turn off 360.
2. Remove Hard Drive.
3. Turn on 360 and wait for the dashboard to load.
4. Attach Hard Drive and the sound should return.
Although this fix works, you have to do it every time you turn on the console. Expect a patch for this in the coming days.2. Remove Hard Drive.
