    Operation Peacekeeper v0.26 Released

The Operation Peacekeeper mod team has officially released v0.26 today. Below you'll find the password for the torrent file that went out earlier this week. Take a look:
Last Tuesday we promised to release the client download and torrent password today and here you go! Before you get to read the password we want to give you some further information on new content included in OPK 0.26.

First of all we edited the snipers. To make aiming easier we adapted two little helpers to the rifle. The first one is a precision indicator. It shows you when the shot will be most precise. Together with the second helper, a distance-indicator that helps you to manage the ballistics, we hope to have made it easier for everybody wanting to be a sniper.

Another thing that was renewed is the sound. We turned up the sound intensity of many guns, vehicles and bullets so you can hear the noise of death if he's still far away. A small impression are the tanks, which could already be heard from a high distance.

On community request we put our little test map Shooting range into the release! It was used to test weapon- and vehicle settings. Now you can train your abilities offline and get used to the new ballistics. Remember that it's a test map that is not meant to be used for multiplayer-matches.

    The torrent-password is:

I would reinstall BF2 just to play this mod, but I don't think there are gonna be any populated servers

well no one is playing online now but you can always check here to see if there are people playing, its most likely just the time of day for who no one is playing at the mo but I hear mainly at the weekends the servers get quite full for OPK :)

I'm not gonna reinstall BF2 + download/install a patch + download/install OPK just to play a time or two on weekends, though.

ther is always one server with players. It´s a german one, we don´t know why we have no chance to get a us-playerbase... :shakehead:

If there are enough players, we could organise an event. should be no problem...

Wattwurmer usually have servers up that are busy (for example its the only consistently busy EoD sever) and i remember there were ones for PoE and OPK at some point.

I actually dont recall seeing a PR server from them, but they do have servers up for a lot of mods, pretty good

I love this mod but can't find a place to play from California. Unfortunate for such high quality work.

I don´t know how many US-fans we have. And if it´s possible to organise them for an event...
