US and Canada Pre-sell and Collector’s Edition Owners
CoD:Headquarters has news to answer a lot of questions about unlocking the M1A1 Combat Assault Rifle (if you pre-ordered CoD: WW), unlocking the FG42 and the week of Double XP (if you're a Collector's Edition owner).
Pre-sell M1A1 Combat Assault Rifle:
If you pre-ordered the CoD: WW from GameStop in the United States or EB Games in Canada, access to the M1A1 will depend on which platform you purchased. The first step is to get your unlockable code from GameStop.
If you haven't already received your code from GameStop, please go to http://www.gamestop.com/gun (broken link right now) and provide the requested information.
If you're an EB Games customer and would like to contact them about receiving your code, please call: French 1.866.828.9999 ext 2766, or, for English 1.800.883.8895.
Keep in mind that pre-sell codes are limited in quantity and are available only while supplies last.
Once you've received your code, follow the steps below:
Xbox 360
1. Receive your Xbox Live® Marketplace Token and write it down. You will not be able to download your upgrade w/o it
2. Log into Xbox Live with your gamer profile
3. Access Xbox Live Marketplace through the Xbox 360TM Dashboard
4. Click Redeem Code
5. Enter your Xbox Live Marketplace Token when prompted
6. Start a multiplayer match and select "Rifleman" class to use your M1A1
Note: Canceling the download or turning off your Xbox 360 during the download will permanently void the token!
PS3
1. Connect your PS3 to your broadband connection.
2. Register for a PLAYSTATION® Network account (For more information go to www.playstation.com).
3. Sign in to your PLAYSTATION® Network account on your PS3 console.
4. Once signed in, select "Account Management".
5. From the Account Management screen, select "Redeem Codes".
6. In the new screen that opens, enter your 12 digit voucher code, and then select "Continue".
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to redeem voucher content and download content from the final screen of the redemption process
8. Start a multiplayer match and select "Rifleman" class to use your M1A1
PC
1. After successfully installing Call of Duty: World at War, go to the Extras menu
2. From the Extras menu, input your pre-sell code provided to you
3. Start a multiplayer match and select "Rifleman" class to use your M1A1
