TGN Celebrates Two Years of Wii

In celebration of the Wii, we at TGN have assemble our list of the top five games for the console. Over the next five days we will be posting a review for each; check it out, it will be fun. The first game we will be taking a look at is Super Paper Mario:
How do you keep a series fresh? This has been a question asked by many developers over the years as they release multiple, and nearly identical, titles. To answer this question, Nintendo has taken their Paper Mario series and thrown everything you thought you knew into the recycling bin. If you did not already know, Mario is now accessible in three dimensions while retaining his two dimensional form. Was this a risky decision? Of course. The real question is: Did it pay off?

One thing that has always been lacking in a Mario game is a solid plot - Super Paper Mario defies the norm. As per usual, the game starts with Bowser kidnapping Princess Peach, this time forcing her to marry him. Interrupting the absolutely beautiful wedding is a new villain named Count Bleck who kidnaps the Princess, Bowser, and Luigi. The three are then separated and each live alone throughout the world.

The full review can be found here. Check back tomorrow as we unveil number four on our list.

Some issues within your article ThQp:

The discuss here link on the actual article is attached to Manzi's review of Dead Space. This happened on the Exodus from Earth review as well.

The phrase, "One thing that has always been lacking in a Mario game is a solid plot", is completely wrong. You have played previous Mario games right? What do you call the plots of Paper Mario (N64), Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GCN), Mario And Luigi SuperStar Saga (GBA), and Mario and Luigi: Partners In Time(DS)? They were incredibly deep and intricate, so you are making a poor generalization of stereoypical views of Mario and his ilk of games released that do not fully attempt stories like most of his sports games or party games.

The simile at the end is absolutely horrendous. Why are you surprised that a cookie melts in your mouth? Did someone shove it in your mouth and keep your mouth closed, so you would have to keep the cookie in your mouth? Remove this literary device and stick with regular writing.

Another poor sentence, "The addition of Pixls (and some other companions found along the way) are absolutely necessary to complete all the obstacles presented to Mario." Do I have to explain what is wrong with this sentence?

Also, Word's spellcheck should have caught the extra punctuation errors, slight mispellings, and irregular capitalizations.

The word port strikes me as ineffective at communicating what you want to say. Super Paper Mario was originally intended for the Gamecube, but instead of releasing it on a dying system, Nintendo decided to extend it's development to release the game on their new console, the Wii. I always thought that a port was a rerelease of a game that had already been put on the market, so this explanation better fits the required spot.

All in all good article, just some misunderstandings and errors.

Yes, the link you provided works, but I was just noting down something I saw earlier and could possibly cause issues for readers. If only spawn can fix this, then fine, I'm sorry. I did not know this before posting.
