Really? I thought roughly half of them sounded like nail guns. Some are satisfying but others sound under powered to me.

I just paid a visit to the callofduty.com forums and it seems a lot of other people, including myself, seem to have problems with the beta.

Do it anyway. It takes like 45 seconds and you could still get a key...I signed up like 40 mins before they made the official announcement and got one.

It doesn't sound like there is any restriction really. They just drop a key in your account/profile tab. It's worth a try!

I still have to wait about 2 more hours before my dl is done, it's going quite slow

I am enjoying this game quite a bit, though my crosshairs feel slightly wavey. I am definately enjoying it though, and the map designes are all very cool (especially roundhouse)!

How long will the beta last?

It hasn't been announced yet, but the full game comes out in 2 weeks, so I'd guess they'll shut it down by then.
