Hmmm I can't even start the game, I keep getting a crash as soon as I load it, I guess I'll re-install.

I re-installed and it's still giving me the same problem, as soon as I start the game up it crashes to desktop and gives me an error.

What's the error? And did you consult the readme to see if it's in there?

Man, you're always such a ray of sunshine.

Someone has to play the procrastanater.

We aren't testing the MP for them for the first time...there has been testing going on up to now on PC (and much of the code is common with 360 as well, so a lot of bugs found by the 360 Beta will already be fixed behind the scenes on PC for release).

This is to give a final look at what happens when large numbers of people are playing at the same time and large numbers of servers are up. There is enough time that if anything major is found, it could probably be fixed in a patch at or very near after release.

We all know what happens when you promise to fix known bugs with a patch *cough*ffow*cough*.

Perhaps the correct term for this should have been "Demo" instead of "Beta".

I just tested few rounds of this...

And i gotta agree with Spawn that the rounds are really fast...

From what i saw, Tommy gun seems bit too powerful... But im pretty sure that it will be adjusted to the full game..

I have my game installed and working properly *fingers crossed*.

Read it over carefully...I got a directX error that I had to deal with (download/install update) before I could play. There are also issues with Realtek sound cards again.

Whiskey is it the DX update at the link you gave out the 1 that is dated Aug 2008? Should I download the update 1st or just try it 1st to see if it goes?

Yeah, not working for me either. Just says that the game has stopped running. Pretty much the same error I get when I had with CoD4 (since WaW is built on the same engine), but there was a fix to just renaming a file.

Might as well try it first. If it doesn't work, go to microsoft's site and search for DirectX, and you'll see the updates.

After playing it for longer, you all will find more problems and things you'll want changed. You'll see. And my friend said he tried updating his DX but it didnt work, he had to go find some makeshift update or something.
