NO, there are no jap zombies. Zombies cant swim and it will take time for the infection to make it to the islands.

New developer blog posted today in the INTEL section of callofduty.com, with a bit more info, and a new movie-style video that is only available on that site today (not being released publicly until tomorrow). Enjoy!

Develop Blog: Bonus Mode

What’s with the Zombies?

Our Zombie game mode is not part of the main story campaign – it is an entirely separate bonus mode for the next-gen versions, which will be available after our credits roll. You can play the mode solo, but I highly recommend playing it with 3 of your friends via Co-Op.

The mode has a fun economy system which allows you to accumulate points, which can be spent on purchasing weapon upgrades, ammunition, and opening new sections of the level to expand your fight as each wave of Zombies grow in difficulty.

I’d hate to reveal too much, and hope the video speaks for itself. I can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on this extremely addicting bonus at the end of CoD:WW, it’s going to be such a blast.

We’re bringing this trailer to the COD HQ community first – you won’t find it anywhere else until tomorrow – so please let me know what you think in the comments!
