To everyone. Any military or country that has plans to attack the US would be foolish NOT to wipe DC off the map. Everything is there as far as leadership goes. (Yes there are hidden things, but lets stick with obvious).

EXACTLY! Its double standards. Like Idaeus said, put a chick in a bikini sporting the stars and stripes running from them and we all probably wouldnt be having this discussion.

When Ray Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 (Yes, I've read it; it's very good if you actually look at the symbolism and recognize it as a social commentary and mild satire), I'm fairly confident he was following the styles and ideas outlined in Brave New World, a dystopian satire with overlapping themes on censorship. Especially take a look at the character of Bernard Marx and John the Savage vs. Guy Montag.

As previously pointed out, free speech does in fact cover those advertisements. The ads exhibit no slanderous content with no malice intended, and the speech or message behind the ad does not pose a clear and present national security risk as established by Schenck v. United States or something which promotes "immediate lawless action" (Brandenburg v. Ohio). So, it's fine.

paranoid hyper sensitive coward. Who cares that much about an ad? I wouldn't, in fact the ad would probably make me want to see what it was about. Stop being so hyper sensitive about terrorism. It's not going to come from a videogame company or a poster on the wall.
