We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
If they're to do the name as xfire does, ie, you have a "login/profile name", BUT, you have a "display name" also, that would be cool. Then, you can have your ghey name like JoMaMaz654698 and then in game, I can be JoMaMaz. This should be plausible as it's exactly how xfire does it.
Thats something i could live with. I really dont want to waste my time continually re doing my profiles. Although it sounds like they are too stuck in there ways and worried about lazy admins to do it.
Sounds like you are more interested in your nick/profile that playing the actual game? Whats up with that?
Ive already played the game and ive played cod4, which is basicly the game w/o being WW2. So i know plenty about the game, just short of having the full version, and im none to happy about having to have that style of profile. This isnt the xbox so dont make it like one.
Just wait until you play this extremely fun, addicting PC BETA that I was playing all night. It's great to see the fruits of our labor finally paying off - man, I shot this guy with my tank, his lower half of his body was blown clear off!
We're putting servers online and testing them as we speak. You'll all have your hands on this thing VERY soon (yes, it's been upgraded to "very").
And as I posted in the "Day-1" thread, looks like servers are indeed going up:
