I can stand a little swearing. Although that seemed a bit random.

Good trailer, still not sure if I'm gonna buy it :p

It's good they stood by their beliefs and included the type of language we all use frequently when playing online FPS.

I'm glad they didn't shy away from rough language, but that soundbyte at the end of the video there plays at the end of the round every time the US team wins.

Some swearing is realistic and gritty. Too much/too often gets old quick, and is going to be an issue for a lot of people. I don't think the end menu was a good place to put that soundbyte.

It would have been more appropriate when you're about to die (your character says it) or in the SP campaign. Again, I don't mind it the least because I always play with headphones, but it just sounds out of place.

It's a real issue for Consoles, where people will have children in the house, or even parents for those old enough to own the game, but still living at home.

For PC, most of us use headphones so it isn't as bad, but an interesting problem will be for servers who do not tolerate bad language in chat...but the game has a bad language audio file playing whenever the US wins. lol. Servers will have to mod it out if there's no language filter.

                      ..

Aside from all that though, this trailer gets me pumped up, even with all I've seen so far of the game.

Yes, thats more the point. This was an awesome trailer, but there are some people I wouldnt show this to because of the ending.

And yeah, I cant wait to get some stickie bombs and bazookas. Reminds me of the Spec-Ops guy in "The Pwned Life". He was my idol

LMAO...I just had a horrible thought for the poor Console people who are always complaining about the foul-mouthed little brats on Xbox Live...imagine those kidlets all yelling out over and over again "Outstanding Marines! Out-f***ing-standing!" every winning round after Kiefer's voice says it.

I might be totally wrong but I do not recall hearing that soundbyte in the multiplayer modes.

Servers that don't tolerate bad language and the game states it's rated M and uses strong language... Stupid rule...
