The police unions in New York are calling Saints Row 2 an "abomination" and want it pulled from store shelves.
The unions claim that the game "dehumanizes police officers, trivializes violence and sets a terrible example for young people." Leslie Crocker-Snyder, a candidate for the District Attorney's office in Manhattan spoke out against the game.
Saints Row 2 was just released this week for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and retails for $59.99 at most stores. One such store in Lower Manhattan have claimed brisk sales for the title and they have stated that they check the age of every person purchasing the game.
