Will PAM be the Only Competitive Mod for CoD:WW?

For the competitive gamers out there, PAM may be the only competitive mod to use for Call of Duty: World at War. Promod will be no more as of now according to news from BASHandSLASH.
It appears that Ryan, aka Raf1 will neither be involved in PAM for CoD:WW, nor will he be making a "promod" (competitive mod) for the new game.

I spoke to a clearly frustrated Raf1 just now and in a curt statement said:

"I'm dropping being involved in Promod or Pam..."

    - Raf1

Raf1 is both a modder and a competitive "pro" player. It shows. His "Promod" was embraced by competition modders and rocketed past PAM to be CoD4's official mod around the world - and it did so in a matter of months.

The big question of course is, what prompted Raf1 to hang it up. There are always a few reasons when something of this magnitude happens.

OpenWarfare - An open source mod for CoD4, but will be converted and continued once CoD5 is released.

It already has loads of features, just check out the Wiki

OpenWarfare team plan on implementing as many features as possible for: public play, clan play, and realism play.
