Treyarch and Activision-Blizzard has released the demo to their upcoming game based on the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace. Check it out:

I tried it, wrote a user review on the PC games section.

I found this 007 game to be rather interesting, i though it was wonderfully layed out, i loved the jumping, as in when you got to jump to get to a lower level he would interact with the surrounding objects. I liked the fighting as well.

IMHO, this Bond game can pull it off

What fighting? I missed out on that part.

I thought the demo was ridiculously short but it was overall nice. Graphics look good, game played well, I like the cover system used. Only thing is I don't think that was the best level to demo a game. Yeah I know it shows the intensity and action of the game, but personally, I didn't feel it let me connect to the game or get to be in the rhythm of the game. You are just thrown in, run, shoot, run, shoot, game over.

Game looks promising though. :thumbsup:

I wouldn't be surprised if they are already quite confident in their title so they use the demo more for a teaser than a try out.

Yeah it is more of a teaser, than an actual demo. Not a bad marketing plan to lure gamers in.

Sorry Spawn, by fighting i meant "gunfight". It was a good short gunfight, i am definitely buying this game.

Yeah it was a fun teaser of the game, but still would've like to get to play a bit more, and a not so hectic level. But you're right, it is a good marketing plan to at least get people interested in it.

I nearly fell out of my chair laughing when it was first forwarded to me. Maybe it's a bit of an inside-joke...a bunch of people I know were like "WTF is a Quantum of Solace?" when the title was first announced, so the spoof song of it was pretty funneh to me.

Swing and a miss? Ah well, they can't all be gems.
