APB, or All Points Bulletin, the upcoming MMO from Realtime Worlds (Crackdown), will use Facebook as a "community messenger tool." This news comes from a mass mailing sent out to fans.
APB will be a MMO in the same vein of a cops vs robbers style of game. Players can either assume the role of a law enforcement character or one that opts to break the law. It will be released some time in 2009 on the PC.

It's not yet known how exactly Facebook will integrate with the game, but when revealed the game at GDC Realtime Worlds head Dave Jones said the game would be using social music site Last.fm for in-game audio content, proving that the studio is keen to embrace already popular and established online services when building its game - rather than build its own.
