World at War Co-Op Footage Blowout

The guys over at GameTrailers have posted up four brand new and exclusive clips from Call of Duty: World at War that show off the co-op mode. Check out two of them below:

There's some serious adult-rated content in those vids...captures the brutality of war very well, IMO. For those who enjoy gibs, there's at least one guy blown apart in one of the vids. And a couple of up-close molotov cocktail baths.

This stuff actually has me really looking forward to co-op mode.

AWESOME!

As said above, the brutality is sveet, and really adds to the effect. Talk about an upgrade: going from puffs of white smoke when hit, to body parts getting blown off, blood flying, fiery deaths...wow. Makes it much more intense. Also, it's not parts flying off like in some games where the arm goes flying 100ft away lol!

I was looking forward to co-op, but to find out now how they have more than one co-op mode, the competitive aspect to it, wow, good job! :thumbsup:

I agree. I also like how the AI reacts to getting shot in places. That one guy grabbing his arm, another limped back. CoD4 did that well, but not quite like how they vamped this up.

Love the whole 'queit' effect when in last stand with only the bullets zipping past breaking the silence. Really makes the moment...

However - Where are the stereotypical kick-*** Russian accents!? I demand stereotypical kick-*** Russian accents!

I dont know if there will be any Pearl Harbor. I think this is staged more toward the end of the war, with the Russians pushing back the Germans and the Americans doing their island hopping.
