Total Battlefield would like to give everyone in our community a heads up that tomorrow, Thursday, October 2nd, we will be starting a new contest. The winners of this contest will receive 1 of 20 Battlefield Heroes beta keys that EA was nice enough to give us. So if you want in the beta for this highly anticipated play for free shooter, check back in tomorrow!

Well, it looks like a great game, and why not have the chance to betatest it? It's just a silly contest

It's better to delay a game instead of releasing it early before it has been tested properly. Problems arise, they need fixing.

The BF2 patch will come soon as well, so everyone's happy now?

I can't agree more, however given EA's track record, if that were the case the game would never be released, which by the way at this point would be just fine by me.

I will tell you what would be even better, if they just kept their collective mouths shut and fixed the problems as opposed to making folks jump through hoops to get a beta treat from them by competing in some lame *** contest.

There is a right way to do things and a wrong way to do things and from my experiences over the last 11 years is that you can always count on EA to do the latter of the two.

I agree about the first part, but the second... Physco! lol

Ive been looking forward to this game for a long time, cant wait for a battlefield where a minority of players will finaly realise: ITS JUST A GAME! or will they? I really hope that this game will be taken by the previously mentioned minority and the majority of gamers for what it is: pure fun! :yay: I know i will
