Battlegroup Frontlines is back with its 70th news update! Today, we will not show you any renders, ingame shots or whatever. We are happy to announce that we are finally done with our Patch 1.05. This time, we’ve concentrated both on singleplayer and multiplayer. That means that all of our maps now have full bot support! The bots will use tanks, planes, jeeps, AT guns, machine guns, just everything to kick your a**. And who feels trained enough just joins a server to have some fun in multiplayer mode.
We certainly didn’t only tweak all the AI stuff. We put brand new tank and weapon sounds in and gave our vehicles new engines. That means tanks now have a higher top speed than in 1.0, but still a realistic acceleration. Players with a slower game rig might be happy about the increased performance - we banned thousands of unnecessary objects of the maps which increases the FPS a lot. A few new things were added, too; We finished a new map called "Fall 1943" which has full bot support, off course. Additionally, we have new icons for weapons, new voices for the German grunt, and a bunch of new hand weapons.
