Re: Total Battlefield's 'Ask The Producer'

Addition of emotes that allow the player to request health, a ride, help defending or repair my vehicle?

Ability to choose which squad member to spawn with?

Removing the enemy notification dot when selecting the 'hard' difficulty in multiplayer?

Will you update the game for more teamwork play?

It seems to me people still are lonewolf even when you spawn on squad leader.

In case you didn't think there was interest in clan support...here is a link to the "SIGN FOR CLAN SUPPORT" thread on the EA Bad Company Forum. http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread....1947&tstart=15

Also, at one point before the game actually came out there were already 500 plus clans signed up on gamebattles.com for Bad Company. Imagine, 500 x 20 or more players per clan, that's alot of people playing BF! Clan support would drastically increase the number of players that would play this game and make the hardcore fans pee their pants!

Will BF:BC ever have keyboard and mouse support like Unreal Tournament 3 for the PS3?

              Hi Gordon :salute:

I would like to know why you chose to remove and/or change, some of the game play elements that we saw in Battlefield 2/2142, for Battlefield Bad Company. For example, support kit now drops medkits, but not ammo. Medic has gone entirely, and demolition (resembles engineer in BF2) has lost his wrench to the support kit, but gained the rocket launcher from BF2's anti tank class. Quite a reshuffle! For me and my friends who played BF2, it was a little strange at first, but we got used to it despite longing for the old kit setup of BF2. Some other things are also missing that were present in BF2, like commanders, prone position, squads you could manage, waypoints and the commo-rose system for commication etc. Was it just a case of new design team, a different approach to Bad Company? Or, did you think you could improve on the way BF2 worked? Maybe it is because this is a console game, and many dev's feel things need to be simplified for a control pad?

Thanks for your reply, Bad Company is great, I'd love to see what B-company get up to in a sequel :)

question-can we get bf1942 on xbox live arcade? it was to come out on the first xbox but was canned and i think it would be great to have the original on a console with better graphics.

Well, the obvious question is, "Will we see BF:BC released for the PC?"

There's a lot of PC gamers without consoles who feel abandoned by DICE because they didn't release this title on the PC platform. PC gaming was thought to be the bread-and-butter of DICE. If that's the case, what's with the stale crackers left over from years ago? We want fresh-baked DICE goodness, please.
