    Battlefield Heroes Performance

The guys over at AMD Zone have posted up some new performance benchmarks for Battlefield Heroes today. Check it out:
FRAPS was used for testing and unfortunately on the Village map in the game. Benchmarking FRAPS isn't the most accurate all the time but a multi-player game adds in added variations. We tried to re-produce the same exact results though despite these results we feel are very accurate but take them with somewhat a grain of salt that FRAPS adds.

The game is very limited in graphics options from "High", "Medium", and "Low" being the only options with no details or advanced section. The gameplay matches the engine in it's simplicity so that isn't a big deal, as you'll see the game runs well even on "High" even on older hardware.

That's nice to see, though I don't think I had too much to worry about with my 8800GT. But I know not everybody has the benefit of moderately high end hardware.

jee, how about some results from lower resolutions? not all of us have 22, 24, 30 inch LCDs.

Well, if it runs good at higher resolutions, I don't think you have to worry about it running good at lower ones, so it's not that important. I myself am limited to 1024x768 on my LCD display, but I'd rather see high resolution benchmarks than low resolution ones.
