    Xbox 360 Coming To Arcades

Xbox 360 will be hitting the arcades this September, The Stinger Reports says. Check it out:

The first machine licensed to play Xbox 360 games for coin-op use will be released shortly. The Arcade Station T2 is licensed to play Xbox 360 video games in public and commercial spaces, including arcade centres, FEC, bars, nightclubs, and shopping malls.

The machine is a low cost product for operators, and offers many features to players including online multiplayer gameplay, memory card functionality, versus play, and system link gaming. It allows operators to quickly and easily update to the latest and most popular games available, including many titles previously not released to arcades.

Similar machines have previously been troubled with issues surrounding licensing and the use of a home gaming console in a commercial setup. The Arcade Station T2 is different to these machines as it is the first licensed and authorized coin-op machine powered by the Xbox 360, making it legal to use in any public setting for commercial use.

The machine has been developed by Quasimoto Interactive, Inc and will be hitting the market in the next few months. American Reload has partnered with Deith International Operations Inc. and HighwayGames for the worldwide distribution of the machine.
