Team Fortress 2 Heavy Update #4 - Natascha

The fourth reading for the Team Fortress 2 Heavy update has been posted today showing off a new unlock, Natascha. Check it out below:
The Heavy's second unlockable, Natascha, slows enemies with her bullets. Anyone damaged by her will move slower for an instant, encouraging them to find cover or turn and face the Heavy, mano-a-tiny-itty-bitty-mano. Unfortunately, Natascha is slightly weaker than Sasha, so she takes longer to finish off a victim. As a result, Natascha's great against fleeing cowards, such as Scouts & Medics, and less great against anyone actively trying to kill her master. Heavies that like to jump around corners and surprise groups of startled enemy crybabies will also find her very useful, although they should look for a Sasha-wielding enemy Heavy before they leap.

How slow your enemies become when they get hit is something I want to know.

I still have yet to understand how this makes the Heavy more independent from the Medic, however.

That might come with the 3rd unlock.

I hope it makes scouts go at heavy speed.

That'd be pretty unfair. That'd mean that soldiers stand still.

As for the heavy being independent from the medic, I think he already is. The medic certainly compliments the heavy perfectly, but he has so much health on his own he's incredibly powerful and hard to kill without being healed too. As long as you know when to retreat, the heavy can last a long time on his own.

i disagree, the heavy isn't too good without a medic. Adding a dedicated medic to him increases his usefulness tenfold. Even if you know when to retreat, you have to either find health packs or go all the way back to your base to heal. With a medic just go around a corner and wait.

a single heavy will in most situations get owned by a lone demoman, soldier etc hell even a pyro

and as Scout I will plow right through the lone ones in seconds

Altho i hope the scout isn't badly effected by this, imo he is very well balanced

He prevents wounded targets from running, and thus has more takedowns before dying. Well, that's my theory at least.

I disagree (with the first part, I've never seen you play scout lol). As long as you're never caught with your minigun down, you almost always have a fighting chance, that's why it's extremely important to know when/where you should start spinning.

Anyway, I find that if I solo as a HW, I win the 1st encounter nearly always, however I'm almost always dead by the 3rd wave. The solo HW's number 1 weakness is attrition. As a scout I can wound him, run back for health, then finish him before he can retreat. With this new unlock it'll be harder, at least that's the aim I think. We shall see.....I have a feeling this one will need after-update tweaking like the nerfburner.

Also, a tip when playing the HW. Turn the sensitivity up (either with a gaming mouse or just going to the options). That way scouts can no longer out-circle you. Useful with the pyro as well, but note that hit detection gets spotty if you turn too quickly.

if you don't have a medic and the soldier etc has a wall to dodge behind then as a heavy you are boned, unless you magically get some lucky shot or crit you are going to die, the soldier or demo will just pop out and radius damage you and without the medic to heal you

                            then death will come
