Primarily, players won't be able to buy anything with real money that could have a tangible effect on gameplay, so there'll be no buying stronger guns, purchasing levels, or maxing out abilities with cash. The Heroes store will largely peddle cosmetic upgrades, like doodads and emotes to dress up your avatar, and metagame buffs that work on a more global level. During the demo, Heroes senior producer Ben Cousins mentioned that we should expect stuff like time-limited experience bonuses and perks that allow players to skip certain parts of multi-phase missions.
