Community Made Video: The Ghost of Vacant

Infinity Ward's community manager FourZeroTwo recently posted up a new blog that shows off a new community made video. Here's what he had to say about it as well as the video:
Regardless if this is “real” or not, you have to appreciate the “Blair Witch Project” approach: Zombie animation + Vacant’s empty halls and fog + creepy ass Halloween music = Creepy as hell!

Its creative, but if I had a ghost in my game, I would be shooting it. I played zombie mod and know how to take care of them.

Looks fake to me. But how do you get a custom animation on a console?

It looks really good, but each time the ghost "Disapeares" theres a spot he could have proned in and when the camera looked to the left he could have ran behind him, and when he looked to where he was he was gone.

Exactly. The guy doesn't look in some very obvious spots where the "zombie" could hide in. Unless hes not a very good player, it looks like he purposefully misses areas.

HAhaha that was pretty awesome.. I was thinking the other day while playing GTA4 how awesome it would be if game developers created secret ghost accounts to mess with players and stuff

CS:S had a haunted house map that was pretty freaky. It would be cool if there were actual phantom soldiers running around now and again. Mirrors you could look in and see someone behind you, you turn around and there is nothing. Things that only activate at certain times, not every time. Like if you are all alone in an area, it would do stuff, but if someone else was in the zone, nothing would happen.

Call me stupid, that i had goosebumps :p

Too bad he came to close of the ''ghost'', that took a bit of the creepy atmosphere away. I would be creepy if he would stay at long range and some quick movements across a hallway would have increased the creepyness.

Wow that was AWESOME! I don't suppose that was just another person. I wonder if he shot back with that G3 and what would happen?

How cool would it be if instead of a zombie mod, there was a dog mod where attack dogs would constantly attack the players (on one team), then when a player dies, one more dog is added, controlled by the now dead player after a few deaths.
